What Caught My Eye This Past Weekend...

Handmade iron construction pops up large catchall for toys, towels, blankets—collapses flat to store. Great sculptural industrial object (maybe even mount open/closed on the wall). Find 'em at CB2. ($39.95)

Do you like getting cool stuff in the mail? If your answer falls between 'Sort of…' and 'Yes!', then you must sign up for Lost crates: Better Living Through Design Crate. Such a cool idea! Check out this month’s picks.

First off, the SC1 & KW1 Keybrids! A key-plus-keyring all in one. Your key should fit either the SC1 or the KW1 blank. Next, The Heart Merit Badge from Disorderly Goods. As they say, “for giving a sh*t.”
Also, Cocoon’s GRID-IT!. Order from chaos. Organize your cords and gadgets with a haphazard grid of elastic bands. And, last but not least, the Eco Highlighter.

Still wondering if you should sign yourself up? Or if you're not sure if this crate is for you, take the quiz!

Another fantastic indoor/outdoor seating option is this chair from Blu Dot. It features a mesh pattern of powder-coated steel. Be sure to note these chairs are stackable, and have an affordable price tag ($99) to boot.
Available in four finishes: white, black, bright blue and mustard yellow. Stackable and suitable for use indoors or out.

These are adorable! Earthenware versions of these classic Egg birdhouses have sheltered feathered friends for years. Now Jim Schatz introduces stoneware editions of the 8-by-6-inch homes. A vinyl-coated hanging wire and predator-proof aluminum perch complement the glossy exterior. ($155)

Available in sumac red, bittersweet orange, light aqua, moss green, slate gray, and goldenrod yellow.
