Seize the Ceiling!

Painted ceilings intrigue me. Why? Because I believe they are one of the most ignored blank canvas' in a space. Why not turn those eyes up to a beautiful ceiling? It's the PERFECT solution for those hard-to-ignore ceiling imperfections, cavernous spaces, odd walls and drab rooms. Come on, seize the missed design opportunity! 

In fact, the earliest known fragment of European wallpaper that still exists today is in Cambridge and and it wasn't found on the walls, but instead, the ceiling! Wallpaper can celebrate amazing architecture or give life to the plain 'ole boring box. I totally 100% do not recommend it for every room (or even all of a room), but it in the right context, it will elevate your decor in every single sense of the word.
